Sian Hughes is an experienced screenwriter with a number of film and TV credits.

In 2020, an adaptation of her short story ‘Consumed’, which features in the new ‘Pain Sluts’ collection published in October 2021, was premiered at the Glasgow Short Film Festival, starring ‘The Descent’s’ Shauna Macdonald.

 

 

Sian Hughes’s network credits include ‘Natural Cures for Common Ailments’, broadcast on HTV Wales as part of the Screen Gems series, and ‘Marw Stripio’, broadcast on S4C during the ‘Saith Ffilm Fer’ season.

 

 

In 2021, Sian was also commissioned by Amici Films to write a screenplay called ‘Open House’ exploring the strange double life of a hoarder. More details SOON!
