Sian Hughes has a decade’s experience of PR copywriting across the public and private sector. Her copywriting USP is to combine high-quality engaging content that reflects an organisation’s brand values, audience, and business objectives, with a playful humorous approach, wherever appropriate.


As a partner of former PR company Jambox and former communications officer at National Museums & Galleries of Wales, she has written copy for clients as diverse as first Royal Harpist Catrin Finch, Acapela Studios, Kissan Productions, Sinfonia Cymru, Orange River films, Creo Interactive, uDesign, Dawn Aesthetic Clinic, Hawker Siddeley Switchgear, Wellbeing Wales, and Switchgear Support.


Recent projects include four spoof booklets in the style of the Ladybird books to be used as a marketing tool for office interiors company MJF, Herman Miller’s UK dealer partner.

Sian immediately understood our client’s brief, which was to create a series of ‘spoof’ books as part of a humorous, one-off marketing campaign to deliver real life, real scenario information relating to good office design. Sian’s copy was funny, informative, tonally correct, and delivered within a tight time frame. The characters and stories she created also allowed our client to develop a package of related PR and social media opportunities.

The promotion and marketing of classical music can be a challenge, but the knowledge, passion and understanding Sian brought to the work she undertook for us, writing PR and social media content for our national tour, led to a trusting and strong working relationship.
