New Digital Creative Writing Courses at the National Writing Centre of Wales

On November 18 2022, ‘Wales Book of the Year’ shortlisted writer Sian Hughes will be facilitating an online creative writing workshop designed to explore the creative process and introduce tried-and-tested methods of  jumpstarting creativity.

Whilst the main focus of the workshop will be on helping writers start their story, participants will leave the course with a multi-purpose creative toolkit that can be used to overcome ‘writer’s block’, wherever they are in the writing process. The workshop itself will last an hour, but time has been set aside to settle in at the beginning to ask questions, and for discussions with fellow writers at the end.

The course is part of a brand new series of digital taster workshops hosted by Tŷ Newydd, the National Writing Centre of Wales, run by Literature Wales. Six short virtual courses, available in both English and Welsh, will take place over lunchtimes on Friday afternoons, offering a whistle-stop tour of various genres and themes, and making sure writers’ block is kept at bay!
